About us

Cambridge Women's Resources Centre (CWRC) opened in 1982 to provide women with quality vocational training, support, guidance and recreational activities in a women only environment.

CWRC provides vocational training in Computing and Woodwork and pre-vocational training in English, Maths and ESOL. These courses are accredited and most lead to nationally recognised qualifications. We also offer a range of courses to increase personal resources such as T'ai Chi, Jobsearch, Personal Safety & Self Defence.

Our Community Development programme offers a range of activities in the centre and in the community. We are planning family learning, art, health and sports activities, as well as a programme of activities for young women aged 13 to 19.

We have an on-site creche available to all women using the centres facilities. We also have vocational guidance available to women using the centre. In addition, the centre provides a number of drop-in facilities including Internet Access.
