Advice and Guidance
Our qualified Guidance Worker is available to support women who want to move on into employment, training or education. Support is available to help make career choices, to identify training needs and educational opportunities, as well as help with CVs, application forms and preparation for job interviews. Information is also available on other support services available within the Cambridge area, such as organisations that support people with disabilities and other needs and information on benefits advice or counselling.
The Guidance Worker is available to all women for a "Drop-In" on Wednesdays during Cambridgeshire terms times 10.30am to 2.30pm. This is for brief advice sessions only. Alternatively for more in-depth support, a confidential one to one guidance interview can be booked either through reception or with the Guidance Worker. Appointments are available to all CWRC students, other women may be eligible for help, please speak to the Guidance Worker for more information.
There are crèche facilities available for women attending the drop-in or seeing the Guidance Worker for appointments.
