Cambridge courses

Please note, we are currently running a reduced programme due to staff shortages. We hope to be offering more courses very soon. Watch this space!

Crochet Together: Tuesday 10:30 to 12:00 A relaxed group to try your hand at crochet. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced crocheter this international group is a friendly place to spend a Tuesday morning.

Chat Café: Tuesday 12.30pm to 2.30pm A chance for non-English speakers to practice listening and speaking in a supportive and relaxed environment. A qualified teacher will support the sessions, but these are not formal ESOL classes. You can gain confidence and improve your English skills and meet other women learning English. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided!

Yoga for relaxation: Wednesday 10am to 11:15am Life often leaves us feeling stressed, tense and out of connection with ourselves. The session uses SRY, a type of yoga that gently releases tension in the spine to let go of tightness throughout the whole body. It’s not about outward appearance, performance or achievement, it’s an opportunity to go inwards. All you need to do is bring yourself just as you are, dressed in comfy, loose clothes and warm socks..

Art Group: Thursday 10am to 12pm A drop-in art group that runs every week. This group is user-led; exploring different techniques, artistic styles, and mediums from collage, to quilling, to watercolour and everything in between. Join us for a fun, pressure-free exploration of your artistic side. The kettle will be on and all materials are provided, so why not pop by and give it a try?

Freedom Programme: A confidential, safe and supportive space for women who have been affected by domestic abuse. This 12 module course can help you to understand what happened to you. It’s a rolling program and you can drop in at any stage. Contact us for details.
