Safeguarding is the legal responsibility to protect children and young people, and adults with care and support needs, from abuse, neglect and exploitation. CWRC takes these responsibilities seriously.
While our services are for women, safeguarding duties can also extend to people connected to them, including their children, or family members who are adults with care and support needs. Our staff and volunteers are trained to recognise signs of abuse or neglect and to respond and refer concerns appropriately.
Alongside our safeguarding duties, we’re committed to the safety and wellbeing of every woman who uses our services.
