CWRC are moving!

We are excited to announce that our Cambridge Women’s Centre is relocating to a beautiful new home.

From the 25th August we be at 2-4 Hawthon Way, CB4 1AX.

We will be closed from the 3rd of August while we move. Please watch our website and social media for further updates.

Our Cambridge Centre offers group sessions, courses and individual support for a range of issues, including housing, education, finding work,  health and wellbeing and coping with life on a low income.

We also offer the Freedom Programme and the Domestic Abuse Recovery Toolkit for women who have been subjected to domestic abuse.

The best way to contact us is our referral form. Our phone lines are open between 11am and 2pm. If we are unable to answer, please leave a message and we will aim to get back to you within three working days.

Monday

Closed

  • We are closed on Mondays for team meetings and training

ESOL

  • 12:30 – 2:30 – English lessons for speakers of other languages, with fully qualified ESOL teacher. No booking required.

Chat Cafe

  • 12:30pm – 2:30pm. Conversational English Group. Informal drop in session to practise speaking conversational English. No booking required.

Art Group

  • 10:15am to 12pm: The group explores different techniques and styles from collage to watercolours and everything in between. Please contact us if you would like to attend.

Supreme Release Yoga

  • Session 1: 10am to 11.15am
  • Session 2: 12:30 – 2pm
  • Life can leave us stressed, tense and disconnected from ourselves. Supreme Release Yoga gently releases spinal tension to let go of tightness throughout the whole body. It’s not about outward appearance, performance or achievement. All you need is comfy, loose clothes and warm socks. Booking essential. Make and Mend sewing group

  • 10am to midday: Got some hems to take up? Ever wanted to make your own clothes? Sign up for our free eight week course. Suitable for everyone from absolute beginners to experienced seamstresses. Sewing machines and fabric provided, or bring your own.

One to one Counselling

  • 10am-3pm: CWRC worker referral required, please speak to us to find out more.

Exploring counselling

  • 12pm to 1pm: Have you ever thought you could benefit from counselling? Contact us if you would like to reserve a slot to meet our counsellor for an informal chat.
