If you are worried about harming yourself or feel you are at serious risk to yourself you can call 111 – and choose the mental health option. A Mental Health Professional will assess your situation and provide you with information on what to do or where to go. You can call this number even if you have no credit on your phone. It is always free.
This is the first response service and is for anyone, of any age, living in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Specially trained mental health staff will speak to you and discuss with you your mental health care needs – instead of you having to go to accident and emergency departments of local hospitals.
SHOUT is a free, confidential and 24/7 text messaging service for anyone who needs support. If you are struggling to cope and need to talk, trained Shout Volunteers are available to talk with you.

- BPAS Cambridge and Peterborough provide NHS Funded abortion care. You can contact BPAS on 0345 730 4030, seven days a week, to refer yourself to the service, or visit their website: www.bpas.org/contact-us/bpas-cambridge-and-peterborough/
- Peterborough City Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital offer medical and surgical treatments to women who do not wish to continue with a pregnancy. You can self-refer, seven days a week, by contacting 01733 673758. Your GP or iCaSH clinic is also able to refer you for treatment.
- The Rosie Hospital, Cambridge provide counselling for people unsure how they wish to proceed with their pregnancy. You can self-refer by calling 01223 217664.
