Your generosity, action and compassion helped raise a phenomenal £10,836 during Match Funding Week – it is a monumental first for CWRC and we are beyond grateful!
We received almost £5.5k in direct donations, which could potentially achieve just under £11.5k with match funding and gift aid. This enables CWRC to continue its forty year legacy of providing a trauma-informed space with free services for women to rebuild and recover with vital support, tools and encouragement that enables them to move forward to a better future.
Your donations fuel not only our ability to provide a trusted place for counselling, classes, workshops, employability and empowerment – but they also sustain hope and dignity to help rebuild lives for women who are:
- Living in poverty
- Facing homelessness
- Learning a new skill or language
- Coping with domestic abuse
- Managing mental and physical health
- Building confidence to return to work
- Struggling with social isolation.

Regular donations will enable us to provide sustainable and effective services for women.
- £10 month – pays bus fares for a woman in poverty to visit our centre
- £25 month – provides a session of employment support
- £50 month – gifts mental health counselling
- £100 month – supports casework during the 12-week Freedom Programme
