ABOUT OUR SERVICE
Cambridge Women’s Resources Centre (CWRC) provides free, confidential, impartial and independent information and advice to women.
Our service includes:
- Advice on housing, benefits and accessing education and employment.
- Wellbeing activities, such as domestic abuse recovery programmes, counselling and creative activities.
If we are unable to help, we will explain this clearly and signpost or refer you to another appropriate organisation.
1. OUR STANDARDS OF SERVICE
We will:
- Provide clear, accurate and up-to-date information.
- Explain your options so you can make informed decisions.
- Treat you fairly, respectfully and without judgement.
- Deliver our service in a transparent and accessible way.
2. CONFIDENTIALITY AND DATA PROTECTION
We treat your information as confidential and store it securely.
We will only share information:
- With your consent, or
- Where we are legally required to do so.
3. EQUALITY AND FAIR TREATMENT
Cambridge Women’s Resources Centre is committed to equality, dignity, and respect for all. We provide services that are fair, inclusive, and free from discrimination.
We recognise and value diversity and are committed to removing barriers to access. We will make reasonable adjustments where needed, listen to lived experience, and respond promptly to concerns about unfair treatment.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We ask the women who use our centre to:
- Provide accurate and relevant information.
- Treat staff, volunteers and other women using the centre with respect.
COMPLAINTS
If you are unhappy with our service, you have the right to complain.
You can do this by:
- Speaking to a member of staff, or
