Cambridge Women’s Resources Centre

CWRC is a welcoming and accessible women’s community space on Sturton Street. We offer creative activities and general support.  We also run the Freedom Programme for women who have been affected by domestic abuse. We are open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays between 10am and 4pm.

Activities

  • Tuesdays:
    • Mornings: Wellbeing Coffee Morning
    • Afternoons: English chat café  – practice speaking English in a friendly informal group facilitated by a qualified teacher.
  • Wednesdays: Yoga for relaxation – not about outward appearance, performance or achievement, but an opportunity to go inwards. Just bring yourself dressed in comfy, loose clothes and warm socks.
  • Thursdays: Art Club 10am to 12pm.

General Support

CWRC can support women with Food Bank vouchers, housing advice, access to grants and funds, benefits advice and emotional support. We listen without judgement, provide information and offer a calm space and a nice cup of tea or coffee. If something is causing you worry, or life is feeling overwhelming come and have a chat to our lovely team.

Freedom Programme
